My breakout art quilt. I had a career as a sleepwear designer on Madison Ave., and then became a new mom. After a few years at home I needed some inspiration to find my creativity again. I found it watching the Muppet version of Dickens, A Christmas Carol. I applied the lesson I learned from Scrooge to stand on the window ledge with the ghost of the future and jump. I posted a sign in my studio - "Be open and trust." I have been making art quilts ever since.
